Mint Flavoured Grandma’s Lemonade

Looking for an unusual, thirst-quenching and refreshing lemonade to enjoy at any time? Try the decadent old-fashioned, home-made taste of this aptly named Grandma’s lemonade.
Great to sip to relieve exhaustion in summer, it’s a true explosion of vitamin C and an unbeatable digestive aid. You can also serve it chilled as an aperitif, and it will surely delight your guests!  Add a few fresh mint leaves to the main ingredient, lemon juice, to make it even more delicate and fragrant.

It is very easy to prepare. Just a few steps and you’ll have a drink to enjoy around the clock.


  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 litre water
  • 250 ml lemon juice
  • Fresh mint


1. Place 250 ml of water and 250 g of sugar in a small saucepan (simple syrup)

2. Cook and stir until the sugar dissolves

3 . Turn off the heat, then add the rest of the water and the lemon juice

4. Transfer to a pitcher, add fresh mint and refrigerate until cold, for at least 30 min

Your delicious mint flavoured lemonade is ready to be enjoyed at any time of the day!
